3. A purchase document is required to submit a claim.

4. The claim does not cover product usage instructions, adjustments, maintenance, cleaning, restoration of commercial appearance, or fixing defects caused by failure to follow usage instructions.

5. The right to submit a claim does not extend to damages incurred during transport after the product has been handed over to the buyer.

6. summ.ee does not provide free repair for defects found during the claim period if they are caused by:• Software issues installed on the device; • Normal wear and tear; • Improper use or maintenance (including repairs or maintenance performed by unauthorized persons); • Tampering with the serial number, inspection stickers, or identification labels; • Defects that were disclosed to the buyer by summ.ee before the purchase; • External factors, including lightning, non-compliant electrical voltage, fluctuations in electrical voltage, moisture, liquids, mechanical damage, etc.; • The product failing due to improper handling, failure to follow the instructions, or if defects were caused by careless storage, maintenance, or overloading of the product.

If the assessment reveals that the defects were caused by the aforementioned factors, but the product can be repaired, the consumer has the option to request paid repairs. Devices damaged by liquids/moisture or mechanical impact are only eligible for paid repairs.

8. An expertise fee must be paid if summ.ee is not responsible for the defects and repair is not possible. The consumer must also pay the fee if no defects are found during the assessment and the device meets the manufacturer’s technical specifications.

If the product cannot be repaired, the customer has the right to request a replacement or withdraw from the contract. The above applies if the product has been used under the intended conditions, and the defect was not caused by external factors (lightning, voltage fluctuations, inadequate ventilation, leaking batteries, fire, flooding, etc.) or improper handling of the product. b. The product’s serial and model numbers have been altered, removed, relocated, or made unreadable;
